Thanks to Our Sponsors:

Native Quest is a Non-Profit organization, and as such is reliant on the support of our patrons and donors who donate not only funding, but their personal time.

While we don't have room on this page to list all of our volunteers, we can list our best contributors. They include:

Talking Circles

The Talking Circles are becoming very popular, with good reports from all involved. If you haven't stopped by and experienced one, you might want to add it to your list of things to do. Current Circle Topics include: Healing, Flutes, Singles, and Women's and Family Issues. Contact the front desk for information and schedules.

Volunteer and Earn Computers

Do you know someone who needs a computer but can't afford one? Our technology manager and volunteer Bob is working with A+ Computer Rebuilders in Olympia, WA to provide desktop computer system for themselves or someone that is deserving for a donation of $120.00! These systems are great, come with plenty of cool software, are able to get on the Internet, and can stream video. In fact, we're building our computer lab and outfitting our staff with these computers too. We are also collecting old computer systems that need to be recycled safely and properly. Contact him at the store for details.

DONATE!

Currently Native Quest is an ALL VOLUNTEER Organization. In order to provide better services, hire a few workers to help keep our doors open for longer hours, generally improve the Center, and not to mention keep the rent paid on this beautiful building, we rely on grants and donations from people like you and organizations like yours.

Whether you bring your donations in to the center, mail a check in, click the link below to make a donation online, arrange for a grant, or contact our endowment coordinator for a trust or other endowment, you can be assured that they are all very much appreicated by not only the staff, but by our visitors and customers.

The button below will take you to PayPal where you can make any size donation that you wish. You don't even need to have a PayPal account, just read the screen carefully and select the appropriate links for how you want to pay.

Have Spare Time? Volunteer!

Most of the work done at Native Quest is performed by volunteers, people like you with hearts and smiles a mile wide, the ability to get along with others, to do what they say they will do and be where they say they will be on time and ready to dive into whatever project they choose. Here are some of the ways you might be able to help Native Quest:

  • Weekly Talking Circle Leaders are being sought to lead special interest Circles such as veterans, suicide prevention, healthy food choices, pregnancy, and more. Contact us if you're interested in leading one. These are part-time volunteer positions.
  • DO YOU HAVE A CDL? - We are looking for a driver with a Semi Truck Tractor to make a couple round trips to Enumclaw to bring the rest of our stock of books. We have the trailer, just need to get it back and forth a few times. If you're interested and able, please contact Kathy at the store for details.
  • Café Workers - Do you like dishing up and serving food? We need volunteers to help run our Café. You'll just need a valid Tacoma, Pierce County Health Department Foodworker Card (if you don't have one, they're easy to get online and only cost $10 for 2 years). Experience would be nice, but is totally not necessary, plus we'll be glad to give you a reference for job experience should you locate a foodservice job somewhere else!
  • Contact us for more details about these positions and more if you're interested.
